MISys Manufacturing,

Marc McClure started and pitched Misys systems to RDL Machine a couple of years ago. Due to the fact RDL had support (Marc) in our small town to help with implementation, RDL Machine decided to move forward with MISys. However, due to the state of the company, there was nobody to take control of the implementation, causing MISys to be put on the back burner. At that time, Marc continued to get MISys set up and front loaded with as much information as possible.

Fast forward to October 2022, my wife and I purchased RDL Machine from my grandfather and started our business journey. I have worked at RDL for many years and know the ins and outs of the business. Going into our first year of business, I was hoping that I wouldn’t need to implement an ERP system. However, after our first quarter in business, I quickly realized that MISys was needed and that I would have to move the implementation timeline up. Again, Marc answered the call and came into RDL to discuss options and get a plan of action for the implementation in place.

In the beginning of the implementation, Marc stressed how important it would be to have accountability throughout the implementation process. So, after Marc’s discussion, we created a plan of action for all RDL Machine employees. At the start of the implementation, MISys seemed overwhelming, even for me, and especially coming from no systems at all. Throughout this process we held training sessions with employees, created new processes and procedures, tested the systems, and got ready to go live.

On April 26th, 2023, we were preparing to go live. Marc took time out of his busy schedule and prepared MISys to go live, and link to QuickBooks. Going live took time, 5 days to be exact, but Marc was committed to RDL’s future successes and business plans. At the end of 5 long days, we had MISys and QuickBooks ready for the following business day.

Throughout the implementation and months of training trying to understand the system, I bombarded Marc with questions. Marc was always quick to respond and helped in any way he could. Marc aligned his goals with the needs of RDL Machine, and he strived to get MISys to work for us. Speaking on a personal level, I accredit Marc’s vast knowledge and expertise to my current understanding of MISys. While I have nowhere near his knowledge of the system, Marc made sure I was able to handle any issues that may arise and committed himself to making me my own “MISys Implementor”. Marc not only proven himself to be of great value to RDL Machine, and an asset for MISys Manufacturing, but has become a part of the RDL family!

Marc, I greatly appreciate all you have done for RDL Machine, and myself. While we still have a couple of things to work on, I believe we are on the “critical path”, and we could not have done this without you. Thanks!
