As a young company, Seiffert Industrial relied on spreadsheets and QuickBooks software to track inventory but, as the company grew, owner Bill Seiffert found that inventory was falling through the cracks.

As a burgeoning company, By the Yard was rapidly outgrowing the Excel spreadsheets they initially relied on to track manufacturing processes. Woodstock, VT (3/6/2014) – Measurement Technology Northwest (MTNW) manufactures testing and measurement instrumentation systems and automated control programs for commercial, research, and government clients worldwide. In 2006, MTNW purchased MISys Manufacturing software to replace the Excel spreadsheets they had historically used for tracking their manufacturing processes. MTNW’s greatest challenge was purchasing—they needed greater insight into their future projects in order to plan for bulk purchases that would save them time and money.
Woodstock, VT (2/10/2014) - Nutritional supplement manufacturer KIRKMAN® Group purchased MISys Manufacturing software in 2010 because their original Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system was not compatible with other accounting software. They discovered that MISys was not only less expensive, but offered them technical support and post-purchase benefits that continue to help them improve their experience with the software.
Woodstock, VT (2/6/2014) – Schleifring North America, a subsidiary of Schleifring und Apparatebau GmbH in Germany, develops and produces slip ring systems and contactless rotary joints. Initially, Schleifring relied on Sage accounting software and Excel spreadsheets to track manufacturing data but the two systems did not offer adequate reporting and data consolidation. In 2011, Schleifring purchased MISys Manufacturing software, which simplifies data entry and intuitively organizes information for better reporting.
Woodstock, VT (1/6/2013) – First Line Technology, a certified manufacturer and supplier of out-of-the-box solutions for first responders and the military, purchased MISys Manufacturing software in 2008 to solve their inventory problems. In addition to gaining better inventory tracking, Fist Line Technology was able to earn their quality assurance certification, ISO 9001:2008, due to improved inventory tracking.
Woodstock, VT (11/25/2013) – In 2010, Florida-based orthotics manufacturer BMI International purchased MISys Manufacturing software to help manage their inventory. Originally, they relied on QuickBooks Enterprise to keep track of supplies, but they found that QuickBooks was not able to keep up with their growing inventory. Inventory miscalculations led to lost production time and unshipped product.
